===== METROVORE =====

**Why was METROVORE programmed to look for culture before destroying things?**

METROVORE was constructed to annihilate the Monsters that were infesting the city where Bastion now stood, on the assumption that the Monsters had taken over and Society had fallen. However it had a fallback programmed into it that if Society could demonstrate itself to have survived it would be assumed the Monsters has not been victorious and then it would not need to annihilate and would power down.

**How did you decide Monster Fights?**

Fairly.

To elaborate, this is one secret that we as a GM team are electing not to reveal - we believe there's too much risk for people to feel hard done by or complain retrospectively that we weren't following our own rules when we believe we were, and as such the means by which we decided Monster Fights will be a secret we don't reveal.
