OC News Session 1

Hello, welcome to UMBA! You should by now have received access to a user account and user page on the Wiki. Please do check that we've got everything right on that page, your bio, your Monster's page (if applicable) and your Monster's Bio and let us know if anything's awry or if you have any questions by emailing your GM or the whole team at gm@umba.chaosdeathfish.com.

If you're unfamiliar with the Wiki system, more information can be found here and we'll send out an email after session clarifying anything important.

If you can't make a Session or will be late or have to leave early, this isn't a problem, just email gm@umba.chaosdeathfish.com to let us know. We're intending to make sure we announce players who aren't present but are still active in session, so please do email us!

Please refrain from posting on the Facebook group if you can't make it - it's spam for people who aren't playing the Society Game.

Various clarifications and errata are worth mentioning that have cropped up over the last week:

• All Monsters are entered into the League by default. You may remove your Monster from the League by speaking to Host at the League Conference.
• Archaeotech requires Power to work. You should know how many charges of Power your Archaeotech device has if you have one (it will be listed on the User Page and shown by circles on the item card itself), and should make it clear when you're intending on using Charges.
• If you have a Quirk that is an Item, we will give you a tag for it and you can bring it to Session! You don't need an object to represent this but may have one if you wish. Living organic things may not be brought to session; Monster Eggs may be brought to session. You will also receive representation for your Wealth.
• You may bring Action Figures or Cuddly Toys of a Monster to session if you so wish. These are just toys - Monsters are not allowed in League Conferences
• If you want to sell something during session, this needs to be represented with IC action or expenditure first: this is in order to ensure that our economy is not broken by OC effort! We're delighted that people are making things to sell during session, but please do make sure you talk to the GMs about the IC effort this represents.
• There is no Moon in the sky in the setting of Ultimate Monster Battle Arena.
• Please refrain from using gendered language as much as possible - in particular, please don't use “Ladies and Gentlemen!”, instead use “Fans!”, “Stakeholders!” or a similar address. See Gender Neutral Addresses if you're unsure.
• You may, if you wish, make multiple League Challenges per Conference.
• Shufflings will now occur EVERY League Conference.
