Dear Heritage,
We apologise, but your request for Power for a New Day to donate archaeotech to your “Museum of Archaeotech” must regretfully be denied as a matter of corporate policy.
You are correct to assert that Paradigm and New Day do indeed possess the largest collection of Archaeotech in Bastion and likely beyond. However, we feel it is necessary to assert that our archaeotech collection remains the property of Paradigm and we will only consider rental, rather than donation or sale.
Our fees for rental of “historically important” items of archaeotech, including but not limited to your requests for “a piece of archaeotech that could easily be confused with a piece of archaeotech superficially similar to the piece of archaeotech formerly known as the Meltinator”, “the immovable rod”, and “the snowglobe thingy that controlled Metrovore” remain available upon request, and we would be happy to negotiate a short term contract for transport, display, and security of these pieces.
We here at Power for a New Day regret our inability to satisfy your request but wish you the best in your future endeavours. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any further questions.
Shine brightly,
Field, PR Manager, Power for a New Day

“He's more machine now than man. I went on an expedition with him once. Incredibly bright, knew exactly what he was doing, and expected no less from us. But he always referred to himself as 'we'. Never did figure out what that was all about.”
“But anyway, yeah, whatever he did to himself, he's clearly mostly robot at this point. Armour plated skin, metal arms embedded with tools and at least a couple of weapons, metal legs - I dare to speculate at what's going on inside, but I don't think it's a suit; I bet that's all robot too.”
“He has helped a lot, though. He saved my life when that tunnel collapsed, and then gave me this here new robot hand when the old one was too far gone. I guess I'm a bit like him now, in some way. He's helped a lot of other people too, saved the world from Metrovore and Chalky back in the day, and I keep hearing that this New Day company that he founded has improved everyone's lives. That's great and all, but I can totally understand why people are a bit wary of him. He's almost more like a monster than he is like a person at this point. It scares people.”
“No idea where he is now. I heard a rumour that he's still out there, wandering the wastes, looking for new archaeotech in the furthest reaches of the world. Stuff gets sent back occasionally, and I hear stories when I'm in Oasis of other expeditions that've bumped into him. Maybe he'll come back some day? If he's still alive, that is. We could do with someone like him…”
