=====Humble Beginnings=====

>"Omega had a huge cultural history in Bastion. From the urban legends, to the history books, to the specific rules mentioning controversies surround her in UNBC, her impact mainly stems from Season XXXVI.
>
>It is worth spending a little thought on her actions at the end of Season XXXV and start of Season XXXVI. Omega entered the Arena between Seasons and at the start of the next as a dour and, by all accounts, unentertaining Gladiator. She appeared to have been against the prolonged fighting career of Monsters, and against the use of Monster eggs in cuisine. What spurred her to enter the Arena as a Monster herself? Why did she move from a frequent visitor to Bastion's cheapest bars to spending time with Yarn, who argued in her behalf, and putting effort into becoming a legal Monster? Either way, she forged the trail for other people understood to be human to enter Monster Championships. 
>This tradition continued long after her departure in the Ultimate Championship battle. The line between human competitor and those eligible for the Monster prizes in UMBC continued to blur, with Ruled Lawyers regularly citing Omega's contribution to changes in Season XXXVI over twenty years later.
